Video editing is the editing process that is done to a video to make it smooth and attractive. In the process of video editing, the video is manipulated and arranged for getting a perfect video shot. It is used for structure and offers all the information required for the video like that of films or television show that the video is edited. • Offline editing:

In this process of offline editing, the raw footage is transferred to a source. There will be no impact upon the original film stock. Even the real videotape will not be hampered or affected in any manner. • Cloud-based editing:

Cloud-based editing is the method of using the internet for working on the content from a remote location and is then linked to getting a time-conscious type of editing in the video. Most of the live sports events are recorded in this manner of real-time. A video proxy is used for editing the original material. 

• Online editing:

In online editing, the method of editing is by making use of raw footage that is copied from the real content. In this process, the video is not impacted and the original stock and videotape are kept safe. After the editing process, the original video is re-assembled to the real editing process of online steps. 

• Non-linear editing:

In non-linear editing or (NLE) the video is edited on a computer by making use of special software that is not destructive. It will not spoil the real content and is also done by making use of programs like Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and many more.
