Risk and reward of AI

Ai is the ability of computer programs to learn and think. Artificial Intelligence is a gift with much more advantages to be considered:

• Reduction in human error

Humans can make errors while working, but computers can never give wrong information if programmed correctly. With the help of AI, the decision is taken from the previously gathered information by applying a certain set of algorithms.

• Take risks instead of humans.

We can overcome many risky limitations of humans by developing an AI Robot, which in turn, can do risky things for us. This is one of the biggest rewards we have.

• Digital assistance

Many businesses use digital assistance to communicate or assign their users or customers. Digitally assisting saves a lot more time and human effort—no need for human resources in the game of digital assistance.

• Daily applications

Daily applications such as Apple’s Siri, Windows Cortana, Google’s OK Google are frequently used in our daily routine, whether for searching for a location, taking a selfie, making a phone call, replying to a mail, and many more.

Though there are benefits of AI, it has some drawbacks too :

• Cost is high:

The proficiency that can generate a machine that can emulate human intelligence is not cheap. It requires plenty of time, resources, and money to create such a machine.

• Make human lazy

With the increasing use of AI, humans have become too lazy to do anything. Since we do not have to remember things or solve puzzles to get the job done, we manage to use our brains less and less. This obsession with AI can affect difficulties for forthcoming generations.

• Reason for rising unemployment

One of the biggest drawbacks or risks of AI is that it’s killing job opportunities and human resources because everything is just done by AI, which was once done by human proficiency.

• No ethics

Ethics and morality are significant humans emphasize that it can be tough to integrate into an AI. The immediate improvement of AI has raised various concerns that AI will grow uncontrollably and ultimately wipe out humanity one day. Humans follow some morality and ethics in their life that an AI can’t achieve.
